Luminor Marina Quaranta Reshapes the Luminor Marina Collection
The introduction of Luminor Marina Quaranta, a 40mm execution of the immediately identifiable Panerai model, revives a case size that had been a part of the model’s history, teamed with novel functions that increase its versatility.
Even the most acclaimed watches evolve, responding to the shifting tides of technology and style. Without tampering with the features that identify the classic Luminor Marina—a cushion-shaped case with a brushed finish, solid lugs and polished bezel—its latest evolution represents a transformation that will swell the ranks of its devotees.
As a result, Luminor Marina Quaranta will substitute 42mm references, becoming the smallest Luminor Marina in production. It is a watch that achieves equilibrium between an elegant presence and a casual, urbane attitude and deepens the reach of Luminor Marina to a cosmopolitan audience, confident and independent.
The Luminor Marina Quaranta is available with a stainless-steel case and three different dial executions possessing strong aesthetic identities, displaying a seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock. Each watch is accompanied by an alligator leather strap and a calf leather strap chosen to coordinate with their dial.

Θα βγαλουν κι αλλα μοντελα για τη σειρα, ειναι το μονο σιγουρο.
Θελει 1-2 χρονια για να φανει αν θα μεινουν ή αν θα (ξανα)αποσυρθουν.

Θα φανεί από την αποδοχή του αγοραστικού κοινού.
Για κάποιο λόγο φαντάζομαι ότι αυτά που κυκλοφόρησαν, αποσύρθηκαν και δεν έμεινε μόνιμη σειρά στα 40mm.
Ίσως βέβαια να οφειλόταν σε διαφορετική φιλοσοφία που είχε ο προηγούμενος CEO αλλά ίσως κι όχι.

Σε συζητηση σημερινη με τον Νικο πληροφορηθηκα οτι οσα 40αρια ηρθαν πουληθηκαν αμεσα!!!

Συμφωνα με τα λεγομενα του εχουν μεγαλη ζητηση.
Μαλιστα, ισως να ευθυνονται τα απονερα της συμπεριφορας της ρολεξ, μου ειπε οτι γενικοτερα η πανεραι ειναι σε μεγαλη ανοδο πωλησεων.

Το δοκίμασα το 40αρι και είναι πολύ ωραίο, όπως και το 42αρι.
Εντάξει, οι Paneristi τα θέλουν μεγάλα αλλά στα μάτια του μέσου ρολογόφιλου, όπως εγώ, ένα φιλικό μέγεθος μπορεί να εκτιμηθεί πολύ πιο εύκολα.
Πολύ καλά κάνει η Panerai και δοκιμάζει μικρότερα μεγέθη και νομίζω ότι έτσι θα αποκτήσει μεγαλύτερο κοινό. Ένα πολύ όμορφο ρολόι, με ιδιαίτερο σχήμα και μοναδικά χαρακτηριστικά όπως το Panerai δεν είναι ανάγκη να είναι μεγάλο μόνο και μόνο λόγω ιστορίας και καταβολών. Με την ίδια λογική, όλες οι εταιρείες θα έπρεπε να βγάζουν ρολόγια κάτω των 36mm γιατί έτσι ήταν όλα τα ιστορικά τους θρυλικά μοντέλα.
Πιστεύω ότι θα πετύχει η νέα σειρά και θα ακολουθήσουν κι άλλες. Δεν βλέπω άλλον τρόπο για να μεγαλώσει αυτή η εταιρεία. Πρέπει να αποκτήσει πρόσβαση σε αυτούς που τους αρέσουν τα Panerai αλλά δεν μπορούν να τα φορέσουν.
