This is the first of 2 Mike Horn Edition Submersible to be released. This is the 47mm Panerai PAM00984. In conjunction with Horn, Panerai set out to create a watch that does not abuse the Earth and builds on sustainable materials. For the first time ever in watch making they used a material they called EcoTitanium which actually is made of 80grams of recycled Titanium for the case. Continuing with that theme the strap is made out of recycled plastic (PET). For every 3 bottles that they recycle they are able to make a strap for the watch. Even the box that it comes with made out of recycled plastics (As with all of the new Submersible line watches from this year.

You will notice that the dial features a sub-second dial very much like the LAB-ID. Another part they took is that the actual writing is on the sapphire itself and not on the dial which gives it a very interesting effect as you can see in the video. The MSRP on this piece is 19,900 Euro.

The second Mike Horn Edition Submersible is the one that comes with the rare opportunity to explore the arctic with Mike Horn as well as learn about how to save the Earth and the inhabitants on it. The #Panerai #PAM985 47mm Submersible, also uses the new EcoTitanium recycled from scrap titanium so they don’t have to harvest it from the earth. The Lume on this pieces is done in an Arctic blue color with a blue recycled plastic strap to match. As with the other model you will notice that the text is actually on the sapphire crystal itself and not on the dial.

There will only be 19 of these watches made and as with the other experience watches will retail for 39,900 Euro.

Προσωπικά μου αρέσουν αυτά τα 2-3 από carbotech αλλά η τιμή τσούζει. Μέχρι τώρα από αυτά που βλέπω μάλλον ψηφίζω τα παλιά πανέρια

Προβληματισμός στο p.com

Η αλήθεια βέβαια κι εκεί είναι πως περισσότεροι παρακολουθούν και λίγοι είναι αυτοί που μιλάνε.


Σε ένα νήμα που συμμετείχα κι εγώ, ο Beef στο τελευταίο του post, λέει πως έχουμε πολλά ρολόγια ακόμη να δούμε αλλά η αίσθηση του είναι πως θα δούμε και πολλά μοντέλα να βγαίνουν εκτός παραγωγής.

Είπαμε ξανά ότι και κατά την επίσκεψη μας στο εργοστάσιο αυτό που μας αποτυπώθηκε είναι πως σε κάθε SIHH είναι σχεδόν έτοιμοι για την επόμενη.
Αδυνατώ όμως να πιστέψω πως η γκάμα των Subs όπως την έχουμε δει μέχρι τώρα, ήταν έτοιμη από το προηγούμενο management.
